Tegan's Coaching Philosophy

Tegan’s focus in her coaching is to offer clear and concise methods that help riders to become the best they can be.  Whether your aim is to be competitive at elite-level, or enjoy pleasure riding, Tegan feels there is potential to be unlocked in every horse and rider combination.

Tegan has worked with legendary neuroscientist Jon Pitts, to understand and explain how our brain reacts whilst riding.  She has also completed extensive training with many coach educators and mentors over the past 20 years, including a training stint at a professional showjumping stable in the US.  Tegan combines the knowledge gained from these experts with her own experiences to develop her coaching system that includes a holistic horsemanship approach to lay strong foundations of muscle development, effective communication, and harmonious movement.  Her particular strength is in building confidence with jumping.
